ABOUT ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY & IMAGE PROCESSING WORKSHOP

Astrophotography is the perfect blend of astronomy, photography, image processing, and scientific exploration, enabling us to capture the breathtaking beauty of the Universe. This workshop introduces participants to the complete workflow of celestial imaging—from planning observations and capturing astronomical objects to processing RAW images into stunning final photographs using professional software. Organized by the National Space Club (NSC) under the India Space Academy, this workshop combines scientific concepts with practical demonstrations to help participants understand modern astrophotography techniques. Whether you are a beginner, student, educator, researcher, or photography enthusiast, this workshop provides the knowledge and skills required to begin your journey into astronomical imaging.

WORKSHOP DETAILS

  • Date: 09 August 2026
  • Duration: 2.5 Hours
  • Platform: Zoom
  • Mode: Online (Live Interactive Session)
